Private En Plein Air Painting Classes

En Plein air simply means "outside." Teaching outdoor landscape painting is a passion of mine because it encourages people to try something new, learn a new medium, stretch their creativity, and create something original and uniquely their own.

In this class, I will walk you through the basic steps of how I create a landscape painting outside. We will learn to look at what we see, pick out what interests us, and then try to represent it with color on canvas. I will teach in depth color mixing, layering and brush techniques to help you achieve your goals.

The classes span 2 hours and are held on location.

$85 per ticket. The full amount will be due after our consultation call for booking. Refundable only if the weather does not permit us to paint.

Classes accommodate 2-10 participants. For smaller groups, we may pair you with others.

Your ticket includes:

• An 8x10” canvas along with all necessary painting supplies
• Personalized instruction from local artist holding B.F.A. degrees in art, boasting over 12 years of professional experience
  

I will be teaching with acrylic paints my step by step way of making a landscape painting. All materials provide, max 6-10 students. Beginner to professional painters welcomed.

-This is an outdoor class. Please bring water, sun protection, and bug protection.

-Please bring a camp chair is you would like to sit during the class

-Wear comfortable shoes and clothes that you don't mind paint getting on. Aprons provided

-Buncombe County Sports park has plenty of parking, and a public restroom

REFUND/WEATHER POLICY

-If you are unable to make the class after purchasing your tickets, please let me know. Partial refund before 48 hours to class. No refund after 24 hours to class.

-In case of inclement weather predictions on the day of the class, I will be in touch with students. If no reschedule time is possible, a full refund will be given if class has to be cancelled.
