This original linocuts print is as large and in charge as these trees. They are in Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest in WNC. I took my 18x24” block hiking and drew their portrait in the forest. After 20 hours of carving, the block was ready to print.
It includes the sister trees, a butterfly, forest map, and the full poem “Trees” by Joyce Kilmer.
I created 10 limited edition original prints. Printed on 22x28” handmade Washi paper
