Mother Nature Makes Everyday Magical - original colorful linocut with flowers and mushrooms

Mother Nature Makes Everyday Magical is an original and colorful linocut block print with flowers and mushrooms. I made these prints using a reduction process, carving the first color, and then the second out of the same block. This ensures that a limited edition run of prints that I can never recreate again. This first color of printing is the colorful background of purple, greens, and yellows. Then I carved out the line work, which is printed in a lovely dark green on top. I created 40 limited edition prints of this artwork. Everything is hand carved and hand stamped.

Printed on BFK Reeves printmaking paper with a deckel (hand torn) edge for a natural finish and easy framing. This artwork is 10"x12" and fits beautifully in an 11x14" frame. These are shipped in a sturdy tube, rolled with protective paper around the artwork. To flatten, simply unroll the paper and lay under a book for a few days.
